FAR: regularly organizes field excursions and trips to Shanghai and Beijing. Detlev Bruckhoff and Simone Steinborn use their long gained experience which they have collected during perennial stays in Shanghai. Our excursions are organized together with Dennis Schulz who was project manager for many years in Shanghai and also with Deng Miao. The native Chinese was born in North China and has lived in Shanghai for many years and worked there as a graphic designer. During the excursions you will meet experts from East and West, emigrants and “stopovers”.
The excursions by FAR: are not just architectural or cultural trips. Within the context of social development and its successes in China we will present the architecture realized, which fill German expert magazines and we will lead you to corners beyond established tourism.
